Our History


National Balloon and Banner, dba HICO of Jackson, was founded by Ken Jones in 1987. HICO is a family owned and operated business. The original HICO was opened in San Antonio, Texas, in 1986 by Ken's brother John who has now returned to Jackson as the general manager of HICO of Jackson. The Jones brothers come from a family of entrepreneurs - their grandfather and father owned a chain of over 40 variety stores that began operating in 1926.
